Hi, I’m Vanessa — an illustrator and print designer with over a decade of creative experience. I started drawing at 19 while studying fashion design, and haven’t really stopped since. Over the years, I’ve taught hundreds of people to draw both online and in person, always coming back to the same things: expression, emotion, and detail.
Portraiture has always been the backbone of my art practice — it’s where I developed my eye for realism and storytelling. That love of detail naturally evolved into drawing intricate florals and motifs, which led me into the world of surface and textile print design. Today, I work across both disciplines: creating custom portraits for weddings and milestones, and designing print collections for fashion and lifestyle brands around the world.

This is a premium, hand-drawn portrait service for clients who value art that feels personal and timeless. I open just two commission slots every three months, so each piece is given the time, precision, and artistic care it deserves.

Price: From $2,000 AUD for an A3 custom portrait. You will be sent an exact quote once a photo and artwork size has been agreed upon

📎 I work from high-quality, well-composed reference photos only. At this stage I’m not offering pet portraits or extended family scenes — my best work happens when the focus is simple, emotional and human.

🪄 How it Works
1. Join the Waitlist
Submit your name, contact info, and 2–3 high-quality photos for review.
2. I’ll Get in Touch
When your turn arrives, I’ll reach out to confirm if your references work, then request a 50% deposit. You’ll receive an estimated completion window (typically 2–4 weeks).
3. Final Artwork
I’ll send you a photo of the finished portrait. Once the final payment is received, your artwork will be gently rolled and posted in a protective tube.

High-quality reference photos are essential – the better the image, the better the final piece.
Clients agree to allow behind-the-scenes photos and the completed artwork to be shared online.
